Sunflower Montessori is a licensed day care facility located in Livonia, MI. It is designed to provide learning and care, based on the Montessori method for children 2 years 9 months - 5th grade.

We pride ourselves on providing individual and small group instruction to nurture each student's intellectual and spiritual growth at a pace suitable to that child. This shows in the children who have graduated from Sunflower Montessori. Many have completed mathematics and reading curricula of not only their grade level, but also the grade level above their own.

The school is equipped with a rich variety of Montessori materials. The children work with these hands-on developmentally appropriate materials which foster their observation, concentration, creativity, and independence. Our goal is to develop in the child a lifelong desire for learning.

The Sunflower Montessori program also includes Arabic, Quran, and Islamic Studies which provide the foundation for Islamic development in the child. With an Islamic foundation, the child is equipped to better the community as a whole.
